Small steps build consistency
A manageable way to keep going when motivation is low.
Start small
If an hour of study feels too much, begin with ten minutes. Increase the time after the habit becomes steady.
Set a time and place
Replace “I will learn every day” with “After tea I will read at my desk for ten minutes.” Prepare what you need in advance.
Have a minimum
Aim for twenty minutes on an ordinary day and one page on a difficult day. The minimum keeps the practice alive.
When a day is missed
Look for the obstacle instead of blaming yourself. Adjust the plan and begin again the next day.
Try one week
Choose one habit, mark each completed day, and review what helped after seven days.
